Emergency Tooth Extraction

Fast surgical care for severe tooth pain — no ER visit, no surprise bills.

When a tooth is badly infected, broken, or causing severe pain, waiting isn't an option. Dr. Kalantari provides select Saturday emergency extractions for patients who need fast, surgical-level care without an ER visit. We verify your insurance benefits and give you a clear cost before anything starts with no surprise bills.

When you need emergency care vs. an ER

Emergency rooms can prescribe pain medication and antibiotics, but they can't actually pull the tooth or treat the cause of the pain. If the underlying problem is a dental infection, a fractured tooth, or an exposed nerve, the only real fix is a dental procedure. Coming in for an emergency extraction skips the ER bill and treats the actual issue at its source.

What to expect at your visit

We start with a focused exam and a digital X-ray to assess the tooth and any surrounding infection. If extraction is the right call, Dr. Kalantari can perform it in the same appointment. Most cases are surgical tooth extractions — but more complex roots or bone involvement may need a more involved approach, which we handle in-office.

If there's an active infection, we may also recommend drainage and antibiotic treatment to clear it before or alongside the extraction. Acting on the infection quickly is the difference between a single visit and a multi-week recovery.

Planning ahead for replacement

After the tooth is removed, we'll talk about whether bone grafting makes sense to preserve the site for a future implant. You don't have to decide that day, but knowing your options now keeps the door open later — and avoids more involved bone reconstruction down the road if you change your mind.
